Estates in Roseville

Local knowledge, a customized plan

Roseville's first-ring streets are lined with mid-century ramblers and split-levels, many held by the same owners for a very long time. Houses like that carry full basements, tuck-under garages, and closets that tell a family's whole story. Because we are based just up the road in Shoreview, walkthroughs and start dates come together fast, and the work follows a customized plan from day one.

Miller Estate Solutions is family owned, based in Shoreview, and serves Roseville alongside communities across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Eastern Dakotas. Scope, timing, and costs go in writing before any work begins.

What Roseville families wrote

Verified client review

“Laura and her team were a Godsend, leading the way to pack up my mother's apartment after she passed away. I was in MN only for a few days, and as luck would have it, Laura finished another job early and was able to meet me at my mother's apartment while I was in town and cleared it out in ONE DAY-- all with great care and attention. She showed up with a crew of about 6 people, all of their moving equipment and supplies, and they wasted no time getting started. Laura has a genius "tape" system, and she and her crew seemed to harmoniously work together, where they almost don't even have to speak to each other! I should also note that before Laura came to the apartment door, she had already checked in the the apartment office to understand the moving rules. Once Laura and crew left the apartment, she followed up right away with a detailed list of donations, items to be sold, and even how they would be sold (online, consignment, auction, etc.). The detail was UNREAL. In addition, my parents had a particularly unique table that my dad always said was valuable. Laura started researching the table and was able to track down its history and market value before going to auction. She has been extremely proactive in her communications, which I also greatly appreciate. I have particularly high standards, and as a matter of fact, this is probably the first review I've ever written because no one deserves it more than Laura. I highly, highly recommend Laura and her crew-- simply amazing!”

“My parents were collectors and savers of everything imaginable over their 90 plus lifetime and when it was time to sell their home I felt overwhelmed until I talked with Laura about how she could help with everything we needed. She was able to sort and box up everything we didn't want anymore over four days and find a home for everything including recycling, donations, consignments and auctions. She was very easy to work with and efficient and she has been sending us substantial checks as items sell. I really found her to be a lifesaver and so reassuring and positive. I highly recommend Laura to anyone for her valuable help respectfully clearing out a home, and will definitely call on her again when the next person in our family is in need!”

“Thanks for the help and professionalism with the estate liquidation (for my parents.) ~ every thing went great. Schedule was important and that worked very well. House went on the market, sold and closed in July as I was hoping for. This was possible in large part due the schedule you kept and the status of the house when you left. Communication on the status of the household items as to what went where and about when to expect proceeds coming through is great. Anyway, thanks again for all the good work. I have some friends that will be dealing with this type of situation in the not to distant future and will be passing on your name.”

Roseville questions

Asked before hiring an estate liquidator in Roseville

How fast can you get to an estate in Roseville?

Quickly, because Roseville is minutes from our Shoreview base. Walkthroughs and start dates are usually easy to schedule, and the customized plan locks in the timeline once you approve it.

How much does an estate sale cost in Roseville, MN?

It depends on how much there is, how accessible it is, and how fast it needs to happen. Sale proceeds may offset part of the cost, and every fee and commission appears in the customized plan before work begins.

Do you hold on-site estate sales in Roseville?

No. We sell off-site through vetted venues, which means no crowd in the house, no strangers in the rooms, and no sign out front for the neighbors to wonder about.

Can you clear a Roseville rambler that has been in the family for decades?

That describes a lot of our work. One crew sorts every room, basement to garage, sells what has value, donates what should be given, and clears the rest under a single customized plan.

What happens to items that do not sell from a Roseville estate?

They are donated or responsibly cleared, and donation receipts come back to the family with the rest of the paperwork. Nothing is left behind for you to deal with.

Do you serve homes near Lake McCarrons and Lake Owasso?

Yes, along with every other part of Roseville, from Central Park to the Har Mar and Rosedale areas. If the property is in Roseville, it is a short drive from our base.

Who buys a Roseville house as-is with everything still in it?

Miller Estate Solutions does, through the as-is buyout: an all cash offer at fair market value on the home and its contents, with no inspection, no appraisal, and no repairs, closing costs covered, and closing possible in as little as seven days. For a Roseville rambler that would otherwise need a cleanout and then a listing, it collapses two projects into one.

How does a Roseville family sell the valuable pieces from an estate?

They are researched first, then matched to the right buyer. Jewelry, sterling, coins, art, and collections go to the partner auction house or specialist dealer for that category, while everyday contents move through off-site channels. Nothing valuable is priced for a driveway table because it was quicker.

Our parents died and the Roseville house has to be emptied. Can you take the whole thing?

Yes, that is the standard project. Miller Estate Solutions sorts, researches, sells off-site, coordinates donations, and clears the Roseville property, so the family is not making dozens of small decisions in the middle of a hard year.

Mom is moving to senior living in Roseville. What happens to what she leaves behind?

What she takes goes with her, what family wants gets set aside, and the rest is researched and placed through off-site channels or donated. Miller Estate Solutions handles that whole middle section, and refers a mover for the move itself.

Does a Roseville cleanout cover the garage and the basement?

Yes, and those two rooms usually hold more than the rest of the house combined. Garages, basements, workshops, and storage areas are all in scope, and tools and equipment frequently sell rather than getting hauled away.

We are listing the Roseville house. Should the contents go before or after it sells?

Before, in almost every case. An empty house photographs better and shows better, and the contents work does not have to compete with showings. Miller Estate Solutions can also quote an as-is buyout if the family would rather skip the listing entirely.
